Text: TTT ch. 10 - verses 3,5,14, 17-20,
What wonder, O wonder came to us from above,
God in His own Son came to draw us to Himself.
Born as a child in a cold stable, he became so lowly
and small, what no man could understand
Wanted to show us his humility great and his love!
The brooks, the nature, the stars, the shepherds from the field,
women and children welcomed the Savior of the world
in humility, innocence and in the simplicity of their gifts,
also Mary as the embodiment of heavenly tenderness.
The maternal Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, also had to become
become man and woman, a flower of purity,
from whose corolla flowed the fragrance of the "Word" of God,
which was Jesus who came down to receive his body from her.
The foretold was now immediately visible before all eyes,
but only a few hearts felt his presence.
Three mighty and wise lords also bowed before him and paid homage to his divinity.
They were the science, the power and the wealth, which knelt down before him.
But those in possession of the parchment scrolls containing the promises
of the coming of the Messiah slept deeply, without even suspecting,
who had come into the world, Imanuel, God with us,
foretold by all of his prophets.
